The reason why i chose this article comes from a question that surfaced during my midterm meeting - How do i represent the non representational? Which i thought was a reasonable question until i thought about language (i.e the writings i have used throughout this semester) as itself, a representation of my family and reflexively about the Jamaican culture. That within itself has fallen into the same trap that anything pictorially representational will also.
